While these items really are fireworks, they are considered safe enough by the authorities to be shippable without any restrictions. Just add them to your next order and start having fun as soon as you open the box. If you are going to need them during the busy times of the fireworks season (June-August), it's a good idea to order earlier than that. We can and do run out of sparklers during busy times. They have a shelf life of a couple of years, as long as you keep them dry.

Sparklers, Senko Hanabi

EXTRAORDINARY, DELICATE, LACY, SILENT SPARKS

Senko Hanabi sparklers burn with the most beautiful, silent, subtle, lacy, snowflake-like sparks you have ever seen. There is nothing else like them.

You light the pointed end, then hold it straight down, so that the flame is at the bottom. If you hold it still enough, you will see a molten pearl form at the end. Keep holding it as still as you can. The molten ball will start to spray the most incredibly beautiful sparks you have ever seen.

You have to keep them out of the wind, or they won't work. You have to hold them completely steady.
